Breaking Stigmas

For project three, I plan to write a series of ten short stories from various perspectives of employees regarding the financial industry on Wall Street. I want to write from different gender, age, demographic, and professional hierarchy perspectives on the treatment of employees within this controversial workforce and the persistent stigma attached to it. The financial industry is known for underrepresenting women and minorities and praising white men. I want to dive into this topic as I will be entering this field after college, and I hope to make a difference in it. I intend to market this narrative to other young adults fresh out of college that hope to enter this industry as well, enticing them to be a part of changing the stigma attached to Wall Street and its employees. I will explore the narrative and informative genres, while subtly mixing in persuasion to excite others about activism in this work field. Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are the most appropriate social media accounts for this specific narrative. Twitter is a short and sweet way to promote, Facebook is a great way to connect using various articles, long posts, or videos, and LinkedIn is the premier networking site for professionals. While this all seems like a tremendous amount of work, I plan to work on the narratives and maintain the social media sites for about an hour a day in order to keep them properly up to date.
